Sadly, it didn't quite meet our needs :( but I really appreciate Alphabiolabs for their support. They assisted me with the paperwork over the phone, and whenever I called for an update, they were super quick to help. I received the results sooner than I thought I would! Huge thanks! I've used their services again and will definitely suggest them to anyone who needs it.

Their site had a glitch with my payment details and claimed the transaction couldn't go through, so I opted for another service. But lo and behold, I woke up the next morning to find they had charged me anyway! I tried calling, was on hold for 40 minutes, and then the call dropped right when they picked up. I've shot off an email, but still no response. The recorded message while on hold about their speedy and dependable service is just laughable. I’ll update this if they sort it out, but honestly, I have zero trust and will probably go out of my way to warn folks to steer clear of this service!

Even though this spot is listed as accredited on the government site, my experience has been awful. I took a test with them about two months back, and while the child's results came through, the father's never did (both were sent together). Alphabiolabs kindly offered to send another kit, but after waiting around three weeks, still nothing. At this point, I'm pretty fed up and requested a refund, only to be told I can't get my full amount back because 'it's not their fault.' I really wish I had checked the reviews before putting my trust in them. Nobody wants to lose money, especially with a newborn in the mix, so I'd steer clear of this place if you're considering a paternity test. There are plenty of other options out there!

After three years, I figured it was time to find out if my twin boys were identical or fraternal. Since their birth, I had been told they were fraternal, but about a week later, I received the results confirming they are actually identical. I’d totally recommend this site!!

Update: Turns out our results were sitting in the 'junk' email folder without us knowing. The results actually came through pretty quickly, with a turnaround of just 3 days.

Fantastic Experience!

We decided to get a Twin DNA test since my wife was really curious about whether our daughters are identical.

The process was straightforward, and we got the results back within 48 hours after sending it to the lab.

I’d definitely suggest AlphaBiolabs based on how things went for us.

The outcome is fine, but the service was just awful. Instead of the promised one working day, it took a full 10 days to get the results. They really messed things up throughout the whole process. First off, they were supposed to collect samples from three individuals, but they only managed to get two. Then, they seemed clueless about the signature requirement (you know, signing in front of the collector) and had to come back twice to confirm. Also, the staff didn’t handle their responsibilities well; there were plenty of signs of that. For instance, Jade ignored my emails after I followed up about the results. Jenny and Gemma told me to create a password but didn’t explain it properly, so I had to respond three times. Oh man, what a disaster! Lastly, they failed to check the court order attachment and claimed we hadn’t requested it.

The only positive note is the scientist; they do their job, but honestly, it’s pretty slow.

I wouldn’t recommend this lab at all.

I checked out a bunch of labs to get a DNA test for our two grandsons, and I ended up picking AlphaBioLabs because of their pricing and service quality. The test kit showed up the next day, just like they said it would. It was pretty straightforward, and the customer service rep was super helpful in explaining what needed to be filled out on the forms. The results were sent via email the day after the lab got the test. We were kinda unsure if the twins were identical since they had separate placentas, but it was hard to tell them apart. The test proved they were indeed identical! I’d totally recommend AlphaBioLabs.

The instructions for gathering the blood sample were super clear and straightforward. I got excellent updates via email, first confirming they got my sample, and then just three days later, they sent me the analysis results. A detailed report arrived in the mail afterward. It showed the exact level of Covid-19 antibodies found and how it compared on the scale from Not Detected to Low, Medium, or High. This info is really helpful for keeping track of my vulnerability to Covid-19.
